Family Dog Classes

We offer group or private lessons. Being able to help you and your dog is why we are here. Nothing is more important to us. Our family dog classes are the best six weeks of the best education you will ever get about your dog. Classes from November to April.

Obedience & Problem Solving
We teach you how to communicate to your dog through leadership.

  • Taking your dog for a walk can solve problem behaviors
  • Learn how to stop bolting and running away
  • Learn how to teach your dog to come when he is called no matter what.
  • We teach you how to give commands your dog will learn to obey.
  • We teach you how to get rid of unwanted behaviors like jumping up, needless barking, and chewing.
  • If you have a problem with your dog, we address it.
  • All dogs must be at least 3 months old and completely up to date with vaccines.

Private Lessons for the Family Dog

For some people their schedule makes it impossible for them to make every class. For others they do better with one-on-one personal training. Perhaps you dog has a single issue and does not need all the lessons the class offers. You may wish to continue beyond basic dog training but do not wish to do competition training. Dogs showing any sort of aggression must come in for an evaluation followed by private lessons. Our private lessons focus totally on you and your dog.

Everything you need to know for a well behaved family dog will be taught in the family dog class. We do not have advanced family dog classes. If you wish to continue training your dog, we suggest private lessons, competition attention class, or agility class.
